President, Shanze Wang. MD, PhD
​

Dr. Wang is a board-certified Allergist/Immunologist practicing at Allergy Partners of Albuquerque, NM. Dr. Wang takes care of patients of all ages with a variety of allergy and immunology problems, which includes asthma, allergic rhinitis (nasal allergy), allergic conjunctivitis (eye allergy), sinusitis, food allergy, allergic dermatitis (eczema), drug allergy, urticaria (hives), anaphylaxis (severe allergy), immune deficiencies (frequent infections), et al. He always does his best to help the patients find the causes and solutions for their allergy and immunology problems.

Dr. Wang graduated from Second Military Medical University, Shanghai, China. Then he completed his PhD in Immunology at Flinders University of South Australia. He continued his postdoctoral training in immunology and infectious diseases at Lovelace Respiratory Research Institute in Albuquerque, NM. He has dozens of publications on asthma, allergies, immunology and infectious diseases. He then trained for Internal Medicine at the University of New Mexico, and for both adult and pediatric allergy & immunology at National Jewish Health/University of Colorado Denver, which is one of the top programs in this field in the country.

Dr. Wang is a Fellow of American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (ACAAI), and a member of American Academy of Allergy, Asthma,​ and Immunology (AAAAI). He is currently the President of New Mexico Allergy Society (NMAS) (2017-2019).

Treasurer, Wei Zhao, MD PhD 
​

Dr. Zhao has been on VCU faculty since 2003. His research interest is in the areas of chronic urticaria, mast cell biology, IgE and non-IgE mediated anaphylaxis, and mechanism of desensitization. He is on two editorial boards of Journals in the field of Immunology and Pediatrics. He served on as President of Virginia Society of Asthma, Allergy and Immunology (2012-2014). He has been named Top Doc by Richmond Magzine (2012 -2014).  

 

Dr. Zhao's professional memberships include: 

  • American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology

  • American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology

  • Virginia Society of Asthma, Allergy and Immunology.

Vice president , Gang Cheng, MD, PhD
​

Dr. Cheng is a board-certified allergist /Immunologist practicing in Modesto, CA.   He is seeing a wide variety of allergy and immunology disease including allergic rhinitis, food allergy, venom allergy, drug allergy, sinus problem, asthma, urticaria and immune deficiency. He likes to spend time with patients and explain the treatment plan to each patient as much detail as possible.

Dr. Cheng graduated with honors from Harbin Medical University, China. He obtained his Ph.D. in immunology at Dokkyo University in Japan. His publication was selected as the best publication by the medical school professors during his PhD training. He continued his post-doctoral training at Creighton University. He is authored 12 articles published journals including Am J Respir Crit Care, Am J respir Cell Mol Biol, Eur respir J and Clinic Exp Allergy. He is also published 15 abstracts and presented at ATS and AAAAI. He completed his IM residency training at Medical College of Georgia and A/I Fellowship training at University of Cincinnati. Dr. Cheng is a member of AAAAI and ACAAI.

Board Member, Huamin Henry Li, MD, PhD
​

Dr. Huamin Henry Li is a practicing Allergist & Immunologist in Chevy Chase. MD He received his Allergy and Clinical Immunology training from the Johns Hopkins Asthma and Allergy Center in Baltimore, MD. Dr. Li has been a part-time instructor of medicine at the Johns Hopkins Hospital since 2001.  

Dr. Huamin Henry Li received his PhD in Medical Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, Texas – where he was awarded the McLaughlin Fellowship Award for excellence in research. Dr. Li has published a number of papers in allergy and immunology, peer-reviewed journals, book chapters, and has participated in many clinical trials. He has also served as editor of the current report of asthma and allergy.

Dr. Li is also board-certified in Internal Medicine. His Internal Medicine internship and residency were at the Saint Barnabas Medical Center – an affiliate of the Mount Sinai School of Medicine – where he was recognized with awards for his clinical excellence.

 

Dr. Huamin Henry Li is from China and received his medical degree from the Tianjin Medical College in 1988. He is currently a Fellow of the American Academy of Asthma, Allergy & Immunology (AAAAI) and the American College of Asthma, Allergy and Immunology (ACAAI). He is also a member of the European College of Asthma, Allergy, and Immunology (ECAAI); Greater Washington Asthma, Allergy, and Immunology Society; and the American Medical Association (AMA). He serves as an executive board member of the Chinese-American Medical Society Mid-Atlantic Chapter. His focus is asthma, rhinitis, hereditary angioedema, allergy, and patient education.

Secretary, Jin P Guo, MD, PhD

Dr. Guo was trained in the Division of Allergy and Clinical Immunology in the Department of Medicine at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland.  Dr. Guo is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the UMDNJ and She is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (AAAAI), the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (ACAAI) and the American College of Physicians (ACP).  She has been the clinical research director of the Division of Allergy and Clinical Immunology at HUMC. Dr. Guo is the author and co-author of more than two dozen peer-reviewed publications and reviews. She also lectures on topics including both clinical practice and research aspects of allergic disease

 

Dr. Guo will make every possible effort to promote the understanding and treatment of allergic and immunologic disorders by fostering and providing compassionate, state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic care for both children and adult with allergic and immunologic diseases.
